How are private support workers checked?
Steadlo reviews identity and right-to-work evidence, Enhanced DBS information, references, work history and relevant training or qualifications. These checks help you make an informed choice, but you should still decide whether a person is suitable for your circumstances.

What happens if a support worker cancels?
Plans can change, but you should never be left scrambling. As soon as a cancellation is detected or recorded, Steadlo automatically reopens your request and begins matching you with suitable local private support workers using the needs, schedule and preferences you have already shared. There is no need to start again. You review the new matches and approve who steps in.
Does Steadlo employ private support workers?
No. Steadlo helps individuals and families find and arrange support with independent private support workers. Steadlo does not employ or supervise them, and you remain responsible for choosing who is suitable for your needs.
